Center for Contemplative Research
A talk on mind training, at CCR’s invitation.

David Oromith is a keynote speaker on wellbeing and mental health, and a Buddhist teacher and meditation guide with a background in mental health services. He gives keynotes and conference talks on stress, anxiety, depression, burnout, emotions and attention.
David guides with warmth, honesty and humour. There’s no jargon and no pressure to be spiritual or anything other than who you are, and he can shape a talk to your conference theme, whether that’s wellbeing, health or education.
“David is an exceptional speaker, and an asset to Admiral. He brings a sense of calm to the audience, and tangible practices to improve mental health and wellbeing.”

David’s own depression and anxiety brought him to meditation at eighteen, and later to years of work in mental health services. He speaks about both openly in his keynotes.
His talks draw on Buddhist psychology and on research into emotions and wellbeing, and each one gives the audience something to use the same day, usually a short guided practice.
