Sessions on training attention.

David Oromith is a Buddhist teacher and meditation guide who gives talks and workshops on attention, stress and emotions for students and staff in schools, colleges and universities. He has a background in mental health services.
David guides with warmth, honesty and humour, with no jargon. His sessions give students and staff simple ways to focus, calm down and handle difficult feelings, and they can be fully secular.
“David explains everything so carefully and thoroughly.”

David’s own depression and anxiety began when he was eighteen. He talks about it plainly, so students can see that struggling is common and that there are things that help.
He also teaches therapists, counsellors and teachers how attention works and how to train it, so his sessions for staff cover how to pass these skills on.
“David, the teacher, gives simple but illuminating instruction with just the right amount of theory to motivate and reorientate to the practice.”
“David has the most calming, reassuring, gentle manner, and he just describes life and how we live it to a tee!”
“This was my first experience of meditation and I couldn’t have felt more at ease.”
“David is a great teacher and the classes are enjoyable, informative and relatable.”
“David struck just the right level and I have come away feeling inspired to learn more.”
